Back Yard

The Back Yard is located behind the Office of the High Overseer in the Distillery District of Dunwall, the main location in Dishonored. It can be accessed from inside the Office, or via the alleyway off Holger Square. The area is patrolled by Overseers paired with wolfhounds. It consists of several buildings:

Bunk House[]

Initially there are three Overseers inside the bunk house, one of whom is in the beginning stages of the plague and asking to be euthanised. Other items of note include:

There is also a safe inside. To get the combination, you must rescue Elsa and her brother Berthold, an Overseer, from two other less tolerant Overseers. The safe contains a health potion, some sleep darts and a pouch of coin.

Mess Hall[]

The mess hall has some food inside (as one might expect) and is patrolled by a lone wolfhound. Scattered about are: a health potion, some coins and two books: The Sixth Stricture and Customs and Food of Morley.

Workshop[]

The Workshop consists of a small shooting range and a work area. On the counter, in a vise is a rune. Also, in a locked chest, there are some blueprints for Bonded Galvani Weave, a health potion and some sleep darts. Other items of note inside the workshop include:

Supply Depot[]

Part of this building can only be entered by using a crank-wheel to open the metal door. A note posted just outside explains this. Inside this room is a dead Overseer (most likely "Humphrey") with a note, a pouch, a health potion, a book and a bonecharm. There is also a copy of Call to the Spheres, Vol 1.

Other buildings[]

There are three silos behind the Workshop, labelled A, B and C. Silo A can be entered from the roof. Two chains hang from the ceiling allowing access to the ground floor, but there are rats swarming there. Once the rats are dealt with, there is a table with a vise holding a bonecharm, the book "The Bone Charm Situation", a note about More Tools and a pouch are nearby.
