Windblast, in Dishonored 2

Windblast is one of Corvo's powers in "Dishonored 2". It allows to create a gust of wind that shatters doors and deflects projectiles and costs 4 runes.

Press Right mouse button to summon a powerful gust of wind that can shatter doors, and send enemies flying through the air.

Smaller animals, such as rats or bloodflies, are killed when hit by Windblast.

An enemy near a railing will be knocked over it, falling to his doom.

If an enemy fires a slow projectile at you, such as a grenade, or the Watchtower’s incendiary missile, Windblast can send the projectile back at them if properly timed.

Upgrades[]

Upgrading this power changes some of its basic functionality.

  • Greater Windblast – Summon a more powerful wind that kills enemies thrown into walls. Cost: 3 runes.
  • Shockwave – Release a secondary blast of wind in a short radius around you. Cost: 3 runes.

Strategic Tips[]

Windblast is useful for fighting enemies, especially in groups, and for shattering wooden doors. An enemy near a railing will be knocked over it, falling to his doom.

Windblast is the power to create a powerful wind at will. It costs 3 rune1 to acquire initially, and an additional 4 runes to upgrade to Level II. It consumes a high amount of mana.

Level II[]

Powerful wind that can push back or knock down enemies and shatter doors.

Level IIII[]

Very powerful wind that can kill enemies by throwing them into walls, and shatter doors.

Strategic tips[]

Windblast is useful for shattering wooden doors and for fighting enemies, especially in groups. An enemy near a railing will be knocked over that railing, falling to his doom. If an enemy fires a moderately heavy projectile at you, such as a grenade or the tallboy's incendiary arrows, the Windblast power can hurl the projectile back at them if properly timed. At level 02, the power will throw enemies into nearby walls hard enough to kill them.
